It was a Sunday. My younger brother was here.My cook and maid were on leave.I cooked and cleaned and post lunch, boom!Navya thinks she can go to a nearby place in Gottigere, Bannerghatta road for a "Sante".I hated everything about this sustainable living, lowkey life when I was in Talgod when I was actually living it.
Then when I got ready and made my son ready too,my husband started scaring me out saying "Navya Gottigere is in outskirts,it's really not safe.People snatch things".Navya being Navya, made my slow eater brother to eat fast and took him as well so that I can shop well and do some photography.
so it was just 4 kms from our home,it was really in the outskirts. Its called "Ragi Kana" in a Ramakrishna Ashrama. We reached there a bit late where it was just 1 hour for the market to get closed. They had a music program in the morning. The Market and the place were really really good.I just got a Ragi Dosa pack as I was out of budget and I wanted to try the ginger wine. But as I breastfeed my son,I was a bit hesitant.
There were many other shops which caught my attention. One of them was Butter shop and I am a big big big Butter fan now. There were many nice cloth shops and those were all too costly. Also it was a farm as well. There were many people around and we got to know the fresh vegetables, fruits get over too soon in the morning.I got some nice pictures as I am practicing with my DSLR.
also there was food and we were already full.We also saw there was a house dedicated to Poornachandra Tejaswi's drawings, his books , photographs and what not. That made me remind to start "Abachoorina Post Office" which I had and I will start soon.It was aesthetically pleasing.
Then I took my brother's pictures and he was quite happy.I sent his pictures across and my mom put them on her status andmy brother had no choice but to cope up with that
The environment does not feel like it's BangaloreIt gives that feeling of weekend which every admirer of intellectual people desire. There was a pond full of Lotuses and many parents were sitting around it and showing that.As a kid,I have never seen a lotus and that was the only flower which we could draw with ease.
There were many babies of Aprameya's age and we talked to them. But the clock was ticking and we had to plan for coming back.It was a free entry and we had to head back.I am going there again with my husband(I can trick him to buy things easily) some other sunday and spend some time there again.
Finally I am living my weekends , really really well.Just like how I imagined.
Meet you all in next blog:)
