Ragi Kana

It was a Sunday. My younger brother was here.My cook and maid were on leave.I cooked and cleaned and post lunch, boom!Navya thinks she can go to a nearby place in Gottigere, Bannerghatta road for a "Sante".I hated everything about this sustainable living, lowkey life when I was in Talgod when I was actually living it. Then when I got ready and made my son ready too,my husband started scaring me out saying "Navya Gottigere is in outskirts,it's really not safe.People snatch things".Navya being Navya, made my slow eater brother to eat fast and took him as well so that I can shop well and do some photography. so it was just 4 kms from our home,it was really in the outskirts. Its called "Ragi Kana" in a Ramakrishna Ashrama. We reached there a bit late where it was just 1 hour for the market to get closed. They had a music program in the morning. The Market and the place were really really good.I just got a Ragi Dosa pack as I was out of bud...

ಮನಸ್ಸು ಗಾಂಧಿ ಬಜಾರು 🩷

You know,I always want to recollect the nice moments of my childhood and one of them was visiting to Bangalore in the early 2000s. My chikkamma was a resident of Thyagarajanagara in Basavanagudi. So a visit to Gandhi Bazar was a must.I still find the pieces ofy childhood there. So on my 26th Birthday I wanted to be a good version of myself, giving my pixel for repair and staying offline for a day without office work (Yes I took the first leave of the year ,but not from being a mom as my Aprameya wakes me up at 7 with no mercy) ,had nice coffee, listened to songs of my choice, read a bit, tried to figure out the ukulele which Kartik gifted me ( I am still learning) and asked Tejaswi from Siddapur, who is younger to me by 3-4 years but really one of the sweet encounters who talks about music, books and just loves Basavanagudi. So she came over, we had aloo paratha which my cook Raji had prepared (I loved aloo paratha when I was in college) wore a white chudi which Kartik had got from Nain...

Kahale Coffee

You all know,Navya loves coffee. All credits to her Aayi for making her love coffee.Instagram lures me with aesthetic cafes here in the south Bengaluru. One of them was "Kahale". Often love marriages end up in just the marriages without love.So I went on a date with a baby man whom I created with Chai (I was too judgemental about having coffee in my pregnancy). They renewed an old home in Jayanagar 4th Block and commercialised it and prices were nice. I carried my son in a baby carrier as it safe + super comfy. So they just mimiced the interiors with that of a 1970s Karnataka home. They had a collection of nice Vintage tvs, telephones, type writers, red oxide floor what not. Also they had this 90s speaker with some vintage Kannada songs.I remember they welcomed me with "Binkada Singari"😁 Now talking about the food,Oh kid,It was price worthy and loved their Capsicum Bun.The reception guys flirted with me saying i...
